Senior Sales Executive, Food Distribution – Lebanon
Position Overview
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding the company’s market presence, developing sales strategies, and managing a portfolio of key accounts within the food distribution sector. The role requires strong commercial acumen, established relationships in the market, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, an existing customer base, and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across assigned territories.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the food distribution sector.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to maximize profitability.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, product presentations, and tailored solutions to clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer retention and satisfaction.
- Build long-term partnerships through consistent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving.
- Manage customer requests, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Operational & Internal Coordination
- Collaborate closely with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with supply chain teams to forecast demand.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with internal sales policies, pricing guidelines, and credit terms.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, customer activities, and revenue projections.
- Regularly review account performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Attend weekly sales meetings, business reviews, and planning sessions.
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Explore new channels and segments that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events to expand business visibility.
- Recommend product improvements, assortment adjustments, and new SKUs based on customer demand.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in food distribution, FMCG sales, or HORECA sector.
- Established network of customers in the food distribution market is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent planning and time-management capabilities.
