Role Summary:
Project Lighting Designers plan and design lighting and electrical systems. They work in collaboration with a variety of professionals, including interior designers, engineers and architects in order to develop residential, commercial or industrial spaces.

Position Location: Keserwan, Lebanon
Business Industry: Lighting Industry

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create the adequate lighting layouts which serve the space’s needs.
• Prepare mock ups and sketches needed to support the concept.
• Design lighting plans including selecting appropriate lighting instruments, computerized lighting control systems, and operators.
• Prepare the relevant Bill of quantities.
• Understand spaces and suggest the adequate lighting layouts and fixtures accordingly.
• Conduct site visits.
• Prepare Lighting calculations and Lighting reports.
• Create lighting plots that include information such as instrument location and type of light source used.
• Work on booklets and presentations to meet with clients, architects and designers.
• Handle the process from creation of the conceptual phase to the development phase on to site support etc.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Experience in Lighting Design is a Must.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personality Attributes:
• Innovative Creative Thinking.
• Strong Sketching and Design skills.
• Knowledgeable about various lighting tools.
• Strong Experience in: AutoCAD, sketch up, Revit, Photoshop, Dialux and other BOQ related software.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
